Al-Huda Weekend School
Registration for Al-Huda School 2012/2013
Assalamu alaikum,
By the grace of Allah (swt), our teachers, staff, students and their families have helped us to achieve success this year way beyond what we had imagined. This year we had over 300 students and so we are encouraging everyone to register early to guarantee a spot. This also allows the school the ability to better organize its classes and be ready for the new school year inshaAllah. We pray that every year will be more and more successful inshaAllah. Please keep us in your dua's.
The following is our registration information for the coming year (2012-2013)
Pre-registration of existing students:
On the Saturdays of April 28, May 5 2012, registration will be open for all existing students at Al Huda as well as their siblings from 10 am to 3:30pm at Keatsway School. We will hold spots for the existing students for these 2 weekends and then we will open registration to the general public inshaAllah.
Registration for new students:
New and existing students’ registration can take place on May 12, May 26, 2012, from 10am to 3:30pm at Keatsway school and on September 15, September 22, 2012 at Kitchener Masjid from 10am-2pm. Please bring your children with you as they will need to be assessed for their Arabic levels.
Registration fees:
Registration fees are $60 per child until May 26, 2012. In September, registration fees will be $100 per child. Registration fees are non-refundable. The registration fee covers a portion of the book cost and the school covers the other portion. Books are only given to attending students. If students withdraw, they will not get books for registration fee.
Tuition fees:
The tuition for,
1st Child: $480/yr
2nd Child:$400/yr
3rd Child etc: $320/yr
The fees are a yearly fee and not a monthly fee, but In order to make the fees easier on the families we will allow for monthly installments of ($60/month for 1st child), ($50/month 2nd child), ($40/month/3rd child etc) in the form of post-dated checks.
Cash can be paid in 1 installment.
Please note that after Oct 27, 2012 all cheques given will be non-refundable as this is a one-year commitment to the school. Withdrawal requests can be done through emailing us at alhuda.kitchener@gmail.com or in person during the weeks we are in session in October. Please make cheques payable to MAC, not Al-Huda school. A $25 Admin fee will be enforced for bounced cheques.
All registration is on a first come first serve basis.
Sponsorships are available upon request to qualified low income families. Must provide supporting documents.
